Senior Project Manager – Environmental Consultant

Clinton, Connecticut (USA)

Thunderbird Environmental is seeking an experienced Project Manager looking to advance their career and become a key member of our strategic management team as a Senior Project Manager. The successful applicant will manage a wide range of environmental projects involving site assessment and remediation, HBM surveys, UST closures, waste soil management, and permitting/compliance.  The position is located in our Clinton, Connecticut office, and periodic travel to sites throughout North America will be required. 

Minimum Applicant Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in geology, environmental science, or related major
  • minimum of 8 years of post-grad professional work, with solid project management experience in environmental investigation, remediation, HBM surveys, UST Closures, and regulatory compliance
  • Strong technical writing skills (Phase I, II, III ESAs, RAPs, UST Closures, Proposals, etc.)
  • Excellent Working knowledge of CT RSRs, and Federal environmental regulations
  • Ability to work with and train/mentor junior scientists
  • CT LEP License is a plus, but not a requirement for this position
  • Proficiency with computer programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
